Adventures in Korealand

All my travels, exploits, and discoveries while currently living in Korea...

One of our tenants has had her antique store in our little town for 20 years! I made a couple sandwich board signs for her store’s party as a “Thank you” for being such an amazing tenant. I also made a selection of French macarons in kumquat, raspberry, and strawberry flavors. Here’s to awesome tenants!!

Father daughter time… Truthfully, I’ve never been a huge sports fan. But over the years (while I’ve been off traipsing around the US and Asia) my dad and I have always"watched" the Gators together - texting and sending pics during the games. It was our way of connecting no matter how far away I was or what time of the morning it happened to be (often 4-7am). The tradition carries on, even though I’m home. Go Gators!

It’s canning and preserving time again! This time I’m whipping up some locally grown pears in a simple syrup. (at Dade City, Florida)

Trying to determine if this is indeed a thing (legitimately, I mean). Because if it is, Korea is about to have a coming to Jesus… In the form of orgasmic cheesecakes. #juniorscheesecake #probablynotlegitbutfuckificare #getinmymouthhole

It’s been years since I saw Les Miserables and I’m so thrilled to have been able to see it in Korea with the absolutely stellar Korean cast. I cried almost the entire time. There are very few instances where I feel as though I’ve missed out on pursuing a dream of mine, but Les Miz will always be the ultimate dream I’ve failed before even trying. Regardless, I’m so glad I went to see it and it’s highly probable I’ll go again before I leave Korea. My awesome sister will be the recipient of one of the Korean programmes I purchased.
