Honda CB750 Four Lamps

July 19, 2011
This pair of lamps was made out of mid 70's Honda CB750 Four parts... with the head divided in half.  The cleaning on the head alone took almost 2 days!  Sold as a pair for $300 or individually for $175.  The lamps are now finished, but here are some process shots...

Motorcycle Parts Coffee Table / End Table

July 8, 2011
Here's my latest piece for sale... It's a small coffee table / end table made from a vintage Honda crank and clutch basket, 7 rear wheel sprockets and a counter sprocket.  Each part has been cleaned thoroughly with parts cleaner and a wire wheel, then TIG welded together.  The crank has been given two passes where it's welded to the clutch basket to make sure it's structurally sound.  Hope you like!!

Functional Art out of Motorcycle Parts

June 19, 2011
Since I have a love for motorcycles and art, I've been working on finding a way to combine both loves which has led to creating functional things out of bike parts.  Next weekend is Smokeout East and I've been busy fabricating business card holders, key fobs, wall mounted helmet and coat hangers, dog collars, etc out of recycled motorcycle parts and inner tubes.  I'll be posting pics in a few days, but in the meantime here's a lamp I made for Kyle @ Lowbrow Customs.

Wrappin' up the Primary Gasket & Choppin' the Rear Fender

May 26, 2011
I finished the primary gasket today and started working on the rear fender.  Turns out the David Bird hard tail's bottom brace obstructs the chain, so we had to weld on a chain tensioner.  All-in-all it was a productive day!
