Computer Science / Mathematics Professor Goran Konjevod might be a philosopher's dream, merging the "objective" realms of maths and sciences with that of the "subjective, art.  Taking some cues from pleat tessellation artist Paul Jackson, Konjevod creates poetic and visually alluring creations from the results of folding and placing paper.

Daniel Mar - Taking scherenschnitte (scissor cuts) to new heights

French artist Daniel Mar borrows the mechanics of an art form (scherenschnitte) that has been in existence since the 1500's and transforms it into a modern day context.  His works remark upon the everyday, the familiar.
