Tara Donovan at Indianapolis Museum of Art

For those of you who've yet to experience Tara Donovan's art works in person, I'm convinced you will never grasp their splendor unless you do so!  I recently visited the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) located in... that's right - Indianapolis, Indiana!  IMA opened the exhibit Untitled, April 4th and it will run through August 1st.  The Tara Donovan exhibit features "layered landscape-like installations made from common everyday materials, such as plastic cups, tar paper, cut electrical cab...

Midwest Studios: Architectural, Museum and Environment Models Oh MY!

Met this crew recently in Lawrence, Indiana.  If I had any thoughts of little old men bending over village laden landscapes sporting vintage trains going "choo choo" they quickly disappeared upon entering Midwest Studios's garage.  This company is small, but concentrated with loads of talent working up some stunning models and environments.  I have to say I'd LOVE to spend some time working with this group and learning a thing or two!

The Times They are a Changin'

My Macbook Pro took an extended vacation to the Mac Experience store for some rebuilds, so I've not been able to update my blog site until now.  Recent events include getting the poll up and running for the Lawrence Township commission in Lawrence, Indiana.  Wrapped up my 30 hour graduate review as of last Thursday.  Summer Foundry class begins tomorrow!  New images and some avi's to come soon on current work.
